The coastal SUP package is designed around you! This course will be a journey based around your personal goals and aspirations surrounding open water and coastal SUP, tailoring a course that will progress you in the best possible way. We pride ourselves on holding the highest level of coaching qualification offered by paddle UK and we intend to use our sophisticated coaching techniques to progress your paddling as far as you want to take it.

When you buy our SUP progression package, it is an investment in your paddling journey. We aim to see you progress as much as you can during your time with us, giving you time to consolidate during your coaching sessions as well as tailoring a programme that works well for you and the way you want to learn. At the end of this process, we would hope you would be integrated into a social paddling group and be a competent member of that group.

  • This course does have an expiration date concluding 18 months after purchase.

Hire Options

Kit List:

ATTENTION: Please read the kit list very carefully before booking onto a course. If you don’t have the correct equipment, you may not be able to paddle.

For River SUP sessions you will need the following: 

  • Board 
  • Paddle 
  • Helmet 
  • Buoyancy Aid (Must be CE approved and a strap that wraps around your body underneath the buoyancy aid)
  • Suitable footwear (old trainers/wetsuit boots – Must have a good solid sole to protect your feet 
  • Quick Release Leash System (Optional)
  • Drysuit or Wetsuit 
  • Elbow & Knee pads (Optional) 
  • Food & Water (Dry bag to put it in for the day)

If you have your own buoyancy aid please make sure it’s suitable for moving water.

It needs to have an ‘Anti Ride Up Waist Belt’ This is a strap wrapping around the waist at the lowest point of the buoyancy aid. For reference, the buoyancy aid in the photo has the correct strap.
